Well as the week draws to a close and we all get ready for the weekend ahead, I wanted to stop and share a little something that I found recently.
Just after New Years I was with my family at our local Winners and I came across this gorgeous piece of subway art and just had to have it for our home. I just fell in love all of the words and phrases that it has, so simple and yet so obvious. I found that it gave me a bit of inspiration for the New Year and reminded me that resolutions don’t have to be complicated and obscure. We don’t have to set ourselves up for failure with some unattainable goal. Some of my favorite phrases of this are “Love each other” and “Dream Big.” I always point out the “Listen to your parents” phrase to my kids – lol!
I decided to hang this canvas in the main upstairs hallway so that each day as we all get up and start the day we can be inspired by it. It is a bonus that it goes so well with our chocolate-brown walls too! Perhaps each day we might gravitate to a single phrase or word and that might help to carry us through the day and with the decisions we make.
